ACMESkydiver 0 #1 February 3, 2005 Yippee!!! I couldn't wait for the DZ.com weight watching thread! 10 pounds at a time, I will reach my goal by my birthday. -It doesn't show at all yet, but my jeans feel a lil' looser, so that's a good thing! I still have 10 to go until I reach what I consider the starting point...the lowest weight I was last year when I actually cared about my weight. I'll have it soon enough! No more going back up, I'm done with that. Still have to get in to see the doc about my thyroid stuff...anyone else have thyroid issues that affect your weight?~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. mnealtx 0 #2 February 3, 2005 Hey, great news!!! Mucho congrats!!! I've known several people with hypothyroidism... some were able to be helped by hormone supplementation and some weren't...all depends on the individual...good luck with the doc!Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. GiaKrembs 0 #4 February 3, 2005 Good on ya girl!!! I have thyroid probs.... gained 30 pounds over 3 years. My levels are just about balanced now - no increases in the meds for 5 months and I've lost 20 pounds. Lately I've been feeling very tired again, I'm going in to have a blood work up (hopefully they don't have to increase the meds... I really hate the side affects). But I know it definately helps! Good luck, g Raddest ho this side of Jersey #1 - rest in peace brother Beth lost her cherry and I missed it .... you want access to it, but you don't want to break it. windcatcher 0 #7 February 4, 2005 ahhhhhhh! Good for ya; just a word of advice, it's always better to go by how your clothes fit/dropping a size, rather than what's on the scale (IMHO). do you do weight training? If you do, you will gain muscle and get toned. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
ACMESkydiver 0 #8 February 4, 2005 I'll start weight training again (I used to do a lot of that when I was thinner and in the army). I have to lose some weight first. Not a bunch more, but really, carrying around all this extra weight I have no idea why I'm not skinny from it already... I know you usually start weight loss and weight training concurrently, but I need to isolate my metabolic rate prior to adding exercise...docs are having a hard time doing it, so I have to work on it myself. It's kinda complicated. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
