Howdy,

I have a friend thats lookin for a used

92-94 Hamer Diablo with the reverse headstock and Floyd Rose trem.

Any of you folks know of any or know a good place to look?

I dont personally like the style of that guitar myself, I think the reverse headstock looks dorky :-)

What guitars do you folks have?

I currently have:

A 2003 Ibanez JS1000 I customized myself with a DiMarzio Evolution in the bridge and a DiMarzio Fred in the neck
Black Pearl w/black hardware

A 2002 American Stratocaster Hardtail I customized with a Seymour Duncan hotrail in the bridge.
Olympic White w/Maple fretboard.

eBay. The font of all stuff. Otherwise, he could try http://www.guitarczar.com If he can't find it, it probably doesn't exist.

I don't know where to find that Hamer. If I recall, all Diablos between 92-94 have that reverse stock. FYI - I think it looks dorky, too.

My guitars? My mistress is my 91 Les Paul. I'm not fond of Les Pauls from that era, but this one is special. Several folks (including a guitar tech) told me it was the best guitar they ever played. The tech offered me a pretty good chunk of money for it.

I've also got an Alvarez electric acoustic, a Fender electric acoustic mandolin, and a Hamer bass.

EBay is probably gonna be your best bet for finding the Hamer (but it's still gonna be a stretch).

I've got a couple PRS singlecuts, a Les Paul Standard, G&L Legacy, Alvarez Yauri, and a Gibson J-170 acoustic. Play'em through a Top Hat Ambassador and Soldano SLO 100 combo. Also have a bunch of keyboard stuff too.

Sold my 78 Yamaha SG2000 for about $1850 to pay for my AFF, I bought it when i was 22 for about $750 (second-hand). [:/]

I still have an Ibanez Iceman (300) and a Boss GT5 & a 100w JCM800 Marshall combo for those quiet nights in. :)
The SG was a Gibson killer for sure though. B|

smoothest one I've everplayed made my bones shake...and it was an acoustic!
***

Yeah mine is an acoustic with a built in pick up. Every Taylor I have picked up has a great touch to it. I don't know what they do (other than hand made) that is so different than other guitars, but what ever it is, it's nice! And they sound so good!

As for Guitars, aside from my Takemine LTD '89, I'm considering having a custom one made by US Custom Guitars with a rock maple solid body and neck, a 24 fret ebony finger board, a single EMG-S4 HZ pickup, and a Floyd Rose original Vibrato tail.

It's a...

It's a...

It's a... gonna rock! B|

I also just acquired a Johnson Millenium 250 head and a Behringer 4x12 cabinet. They do rock! :)
Anybody wanna jam?

Do you not care for the sound that a reverse headstock can make? A friend has a custom made semi-hollow body with a reversible stock and it sounds tremendous.

I am learning the bass.

62 reissue jazz-sunburst.
62 reissue p-bass-sunburst
Frankinbass-p-bass copy and in constant flux!
