GiaKrembs 0 #140 January 31, 2005 Damn JT, you've got some talent there!!! First and foremost..... Ro, and Darcy we sooooooo missed you two!!!! Well, we (the girls) went to Thunder Down Under on Friday... Yes, there was plenty of DD after the show Unfortunately no-one answered their phone..... Saturday found us hanging at Skydive Mesquite - good conversation / people. Saturday night involved more alcohol, and DD. We were going to double it up with Chippendales, but they were on vacation - WTF!!! Last I remember we were walking down LV Blvd entertaining everyone!!! Sunday we woke early.... Evelyn and I got an early start back to CA, and Jeanne went back to Skydive Mesquite.... Jeanne is responsible for posting pic from Friday night.... We all agreed that we must have another trip with all of you that weren't able to make it!!! GOOD FUN!!! ciao for now, g Raddest ho this side of Jersey #1 - rest in peace brother Beth lost her cherry and I missed it .... you want access to it, but you don't want to break it. billvon 3,118 #141 January 31, 2005 >I know I'm a total loser for not going . . . Don't be so hard on yourself! There are a lot more reasons than that. >We need pictures and stories here. Here are some quick pictures and stories (sorry, guys, no hot tub pictures) We drove through floods and deluges of biblical proportions (see first picture) to reach the holy land (see second picture.) We got there well after the first group did. We missed dinner - Gia said she was worried Jeanie might start eating _them_ if they didn't get her some food. We met up at the Luxor, but they ran off to see some sort of Chippendale's show. Amy, Molly and I went to the Luxor's version of that, which had more topless women than topless men (which was good from my perspective.) The next day we headed out to Mesquite, only to find out (see pic) that a) it was raining b) they couldn't find the pilot anyway and c) JT et al had wimped out and not even shown up! We hung around the DZ for a while, and Jeanie and I hiked up to see Mesquite's exclusive swoop pond that they sometimes allow the golf course to use. After it became apparent that nothing was going on there we headed back to Vegas and I met up with Molly and Amy, who had been out carousing on the strip. We had lots of alcohol on the Venetian's canal, then went off to see the Blue Man Group. The picture below shows Molly with one of the blue guys. She then proceeded to head-butt him, and she walked around for the rest of the night with a big blue paint spot on her head. People at the bar were staring at her. That night we hit the jacuzzi in the room. It was a very cool jacuzzi - it was under the window, so you could look out over the strip and the airport from 180 feet up. On Sunday we did the gambling thing, with Molly discovering a new addiction to video poker. "Oh . . . oh . . . double down! You gotta double down on this one!" Watched a lion sleep for a while, which was suprisingly entertaining. We had dinner at the Fix which is the new trendy gotta-see blah blah blah restaraunt. Molly and I also had too much to drink which left poor Amy to drive back while we snored. All in all a lot more mellow than anticipated due to the weather and certain people (who will remain nameless) who didn't show up. But it was fun, and it was good to meet the Mesquite people. And Molly broke her own personal record for getting proofed four times in one day! She finally gave up and just started calling us her parents.

Amazon 7 #145 January 31, 2005 AHHHH Back to my office so when I get home I will scan in the picture of you and Evelyn and myself siting on the scantily clad OZZIE hunks. Saturday it was good to get back out to Mesquite but when the skys parted there was no one left around to jump.. We came back planning on doing the Chippendales for comparison purposes but the boys were on vacation and we did not want to go see the B-Team they had in their place. Instead we went ahdn had a small chicken and other eats.. in Medieval style at the Tournament of Kings. Ok so it was fun... and the guys were kewt and were playing with thier swords well enough. I won my own sword and a great big ole RED KISS that I hung on the button on my jeans.. the girl doing the guessing was a LITTLE off when she guessed I was 36... but she hit Gia right on the button.. and She mis-guessed Evelyn as well . We then took a LONG walk along the strip.. looking for the water fountain... we got distracted at New York New York,,.. and HAD to ride the Manhatten Express.. just to get a little wind in my face in the front of the roller coaster with Evelyn. 67 MPH.. wtf.. some slow ass ride.... so after good quantities of Margaritas were consumed we went back to Luxor and DD some more peeps with very few answers.. COME on peeps... ANSWER your phones. Sun morning JT and Melissa came and picked me up from the Pyramid... and off to Mesquite we went.. We stopped for breakfast at the most SCREWED up BURGER KING in the world. FAST FOOD MY ASS...and we did not even GET IT OUR WAY. Just as we were driving into the airport the Caravan was off on its first load so we missed that one. We did get on the second load and I initiated Mellissa.. JT's squeeze into the PMS. FUN FUN jump and I got to chase a newbie and got some good video. The winds had cooked up a bit and I did a nice 180 and STOPPED......and came striaght down..I love my Samurai.. but in the high winds it is one serious pain in the butt to get it down .. but at least I controlled it without being drug as did some of the people on the jump.. The Byron Crew woulda been right at home. The people trickled off when the winds did not subside until almost the sunset load.. so again.. not enough people to make a load. I LOVED being back at Mesquite.. Brads place is a GREAT DZ.. everyone should drop in.. it KICKS serious BUTT. We headed back into Vegas and had planned on doing the Fighter Pilot/ RED FLAG Imax movie but were just a tad late after filling up on massive quantities of dead animal parts. Not to blow JT's image but MAJOR PROPS go out to JT as I witnessed him do a very kind thing for a little old lady in a wheel chair. He is definitely one of the good guys out there. Melissa is a lucky woman.
SeaKev 0 #146 January 31, 2005 Well, for what it's worth, I did hear the cellphone ring. There was no way in hell I was getting out of the cozy bed, though. Got a good laugh later that morning. Glad you still had fun despite the wx.
Evelyn 0 #147 February 1, 2005 Our Vegas weekend rocked! I had so much fun despite missing Rosa, Darcy and Amy, and not getting to jump at Mesquite. I was really looking forward to the speed jump Jeanne was gonna take me on. Being a floaty butt that's the only way I'll ever get to experience the thrill of freefall at 200 mph. Jeanne and Gia did their best to corrupt sweet, innocent 'lil 'ol me, and while they didn't completely succeed, it was a good start. Think if I'd refilled my Thunder from Down Under refillable glass one more time I'd have gropped the Aussie hottie I was drooling over all evening when he came by our table. I did feel a little left out during the DD sessions at the end of each evening. While Jeanne and Gia were scanning their phones for people to DD all I could come up with were numbers for my husband, daughter, son and parents, so (thank God) I didn't participate. Damn, I've gotta get on the DD list. Jeanne and Gia were having way too much fun. We've gotta plan another trip. Anyone else win a free trip and need roomies? I really need to do this again. The corruption process has started, but I think it's gonna take a few more trips...and I've gotta stay current! Lastly, sorry I didn't get to meet you JT, but thanks for taking care of our Jeanne for us. You're a real sweetie! Shotgun 1 #148 February 1, 2005 QuoteWe had lots of alcohol Does that mean that you had three whole beers? I'm sad that I missed the Thunder From Down Under show... I've been wanting to see that (and for some strange reason, Rich never wants to go with me!)... Was the food at the Fix any good? I've been disappointed with most of the restaurants I've been to in Vegas, so I'm curious to know which ones are good... Sounds like y'all had fun... wish I could have gone... but it was a good thing I didn't, as it turned out I had a lot more homework to do than I had realized! Oh well, maybe next time...
