Which Truck Is More Curvier?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to settle a stupid arguement with a friend. Simply vote on which truck you think is more "curvier" or "rounded-off". That simple. Square-er truck loses, rounder truck wins. Thanks. :)

You are so wrong! ;)

Ridgeline is beautiful, in form and function. In-bed trunk, tailgate that hinges 2 ways, fold up (comfortable also) rear set, try to lock up a bicycle in the rear seat area of any other 4-door truck. And the list goes on...

For a detailed explanation of features and the thinking that went into this groundbreaking truck...

For a detailed review (yes, they are partial to honda)...

This writer attended the press introduction held months ago, and had a lot of compliments on the truck, specifically comparing it to the body-on-frame competition. The description of how it performs so well while towing should be of interest to you AD.

What characteristic do you think defines a truck?

The bed is a lot tougher than other 'trucks'.

Although the Honda appears to have a more severely "boxy" look, all of its changes in angles are indeed more gradual than the Toyota's.

I guess it depends on your definition of "more curvier."

(And I'm with Kelel on a headslap for "more curvier." ....here's your sign)

I'm still not impressed, though.

Anyone that tows anything of significance on a regular basis is most likely not going to have a 1/2 ton gas truck. It'll be atleast a 3/4 ton diesel.

I'm in between, I use the bed for hauling stuff fairly often but don't tow much very often...at that point the bed "trunk" looses its usefulness. That's what I have a bedbox for.

What? You mean in the cab? Why? When I was really into mt biking I had a lock on my bedbox for the fronk forks to go into...although my bike did get stolen the one time I didn't have it locked to that.[:/] Hence "used" to be in mt biking, a good bike is well out of my current budget...maybe in the next couple of years I'll get another one.:D

Anyways, I'll stick to my "American" made (read: made in Mexico) Chevy for now.:)

then there was the Element.

WTF are they thinking

The Element is a success, the Aztec was/is a flop.

I think the Scion xb is ugly.

Of course there is no accounting for taste.

However the Aztec did nothing unusual, except hook up to an expensive accessory tent.

The Element has a truly huge interior, in terms of head room, leg room (like a limo for the rear seat), and practical storage including 2 bikes-inside. The seats can all lay truly flat (no tent needed), the fabric of the seats can't even be stained by ketchup, the rubber floor is very practical, the no B-pillar suicide door layout is very useful. There is a subwoofer at the center/bottom of the dash. It is a lot easier to get geared up at the ski slopes with an Element than a sedan or SUV, and a leather/carpeted interior is not so great for when you get done. Skis/boards can slide under the rear seat (no rack needed). You won't be outed at green party conventions for having a gas guzzler (2.4 liter engine). It was designed and built in Ohio. Right hand drive versions are being exported.

For all of these reasons the Element makes a great roadtrip - outdoor activity - boogie vehicle.

The Aztec has nothing in comparison.

The Element has a sense of design, a direction, an attempt to do something... like the new bug did, ok, it was a flop... but you gotta give 'em some credit, the Aztec is a fucking joke. I always am very curious to see who the hell had the balls to unite with such a ugly ass thing.
