dzdiva 7 #1 February 8, 2005 ....why I do what I do. I love my job, but sometimes the loss of a patient really gets to me. I got the news this morning that another one was lost. I started thinking about why it is I do what I do. The day gets busy and I push it to the back of my mind. Early afternoon a patient comes out of a room with tears in her eyes....I hug her and she says "Remission"....I hug her tighter, and now I have tears in my eyes. She made me realize why it is that I do what I do.Hugs to all."It's not just a daydream if you choose to make it your life..."

We should all be so lucky as to see the impact of our job each day."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. GeordieSkydiver 0 #8 February 8, 2005 I owe my life at least twice over to nurses and doctors. One childhood brain problem (that explains a lot) One serious bike wreck. For the unappreciated, thanks to them all, everywhere. PS Except that bitch radiogologist (xray person) she fucking hurt me, throwing me around that xray bench. PPS And the one who cut all my clothes off except my boxers, which she pulled down round my knees and left them there for 6 hours. Its not funny to humiliate the injured....Lee _______________________________ In a world full of people, only some want to fly, is that not crazy? http://www.ukskydiver.co.uk
