Amazon 7 #1 February 5, 2005 Yup... Saw it on Battlestar Galactica tonight.. Starbuck got shot down and she punched out of her Viper in the atmosphere of a planet.. When she landed there was the rig with Capewell releases and she was tangled up in the OD GREEN lines of a PC on landing tht she had to cut with her hook knife.. woo hoo... See kiddies.. Rounds arent all that bad to jump.

You GOT to like a woman that could ( but not actually does ) kick your a$$. I was also a fan of the original series _________________________________________________ Let me live in my house by the side of the road and be a friend to man- Sam Walter Foss
 mnealtx 0 #5 February 5, 2005 Cool... maybe next year they'll have season 1 in the PX on DVD and I'll check it out... just seems weird to have a female Starbuck is all.... Mention made of a strong female character - go to Amazon.com and search for "On Basilisk Station" by David Weber. Very strong female lead, modeled after Hornblower - GREAT series!!!Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. I was hesitant about it at first....but she is perfect for the role. Add to that BG is one of the best shows on TV right now. We have hooked a friend's wife on it and she hates Science Fiction. FYi - for the real geeks - did you notice this show was inspired from the standalone "Starbuck" show that aired after the original BG went off the air? The one where he crashed onto a planet and became friends with the Cylon that crashed with him (alot like Enemy Mine)._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me....
