On an internet forum, it is supposed to be about discussion. Discussions are a two-way street with the concept "listening" involved.

People need to expect a little back-and-forth transaction. Someone may provide them with quality stuff.

Unless someones logon is Moses (and he is quoting tablets), they need to provide the reasons behind the choices. The reasons are the valuable info that needs distribution. The only one who gets to use "...because I said so" as a reason, is my mom. The rest must explain.

Peoples opinions are based on everything that they know. It is cool if they get more stuff to know, from time to time.

If someone doesn't have the social skills and upsets you a little, get over it. They may be trying to help, but are using their less-than-perfect communication technique. Nobody is perfect but me.

The end of this game may be that you meet them in person one day. You may decide that they are cool and you want to have fun in the sky. Plan for that day.

Good reminder that this is a small community. I write assuming that 1) people I see every weekend on the DZ are reading and might have something to say about anything I post and 2) I will likely meet many of the others who are reading what I say.

The potential for misunderstanding in online and written communication is so much greater - choose your words carefully and treat people online as you would in person.

Eggzactly. B| It is an amazing thing that we do and other skydivers are the only ones who truly understand. :)

I agree. I know I cannot jump as often as I would like to, but I cherish EVERY skydive I have made with EVERY single person. Each one was (is) special to me. It is definately something beautiful that we all share.
