kelel01 1 #7 February 8, 2005 You have to be away from home AND all mirrors for months. Of all the makeover shows, that's the one I could NOT go on. And I don't even think the girls look that pretty afterwards . . . just . . . fake.

I need to find something that will give me, like, a personal trainer locally and then do the plastic surgery after I get small again! Think...think...think... HEY! If anyone comes up with an idea that works, I'll buy you a case of beer and a couple o' jump tickets!!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Shotgun 1 #9 February 8, 2005 I sometimes buy stuff from Jennie-O, and they are currently having a "Lifestyle Challenge" contest that you might be interested in: http://www.jennie-o.com/promo/LC2005/entry.asp It says to enter a code from one of their products, but I can send that to you if you don't have any of their stuff and you want to enter. NWFlyer 2 #14 February 8, 2005 QuoteThat statement is an oxymoron. I am unhealthy. Yes, but plastic surgery won't make you healthier. A free personal trainer might, though!"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. skymama 37 #15 February 8, 2005 QuoteHow do I get all that done for free?? Walk, run, ride a bike, swim, change your eating habits and most importantly, work on your self-image so that you will realize that you don't really need plastic surgery. ACMESkydiver 0 #16 February 8, 2005 Just in response to the population in general here: Yeah, I do need plastic surgery. It is not only a vanity thing, it is necessary...however insurance will not cover it. -No further explanation forthcoming. BUT I need to get into shape first! So I need a good personal trainer and some awesome pills!! Pills pills pills!!! I love pills! Here they go down...down to my belly...~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
gmanpilot 0 #17 February 9, 2005 QuoteIt is not only a vanity thing, it is necessary I don't now your situation, but "quality of life" is not the equivalent of a medical necessity. If, however, you have a medical condition that can be treated by a medical procedure, your insurance company has to have a very good reason to decline payment, especially if it is to a preferred doctor within your program. Your Doc may be in a better position to pressure the insurance company than you are._________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap. Note I said that it is a necessity, I did not explicitly say 'medical necessity'. Quality of life is very valuable. You are correct in saying that insurance will not pay for something it does not deem medically required to function in daily life. I'm not upset that insurance will not help out; I'm just bummed that I'm too broke to afford things myself. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
