Is there any programs out there I can use to test the speed?? Nightingale 0 #4 February 10, 2005 Cable sucked for me. It was wonderful when I had cable at my old apartment, but here, Adelphia puts way too many people on one cable drop, so it CRAWLS. meridianjumper 0 #5 February 10, 2005 The part that could be slowing you down is the distance between you and the main connection. Are you far from your main telephone HUB? Do you have any kind of spyware, adware or virus that might be hogging up your bandwidth? Something to think about.
