Hipwrddude 0 #2 February 9, 2005 Probably one of the top three best UFCs. Belfort was a disappointment though, Bustamante would have kicked Tito's arse. Did you notice when Justin Eilers was KTFO and hit the mat, an alarm clock popped up next to him? You're always the starter in your own life!
pop 0 #3 February 9, 2005 Alarm clock? I am not sure what you are refering to. The fight I wanted to see more than any was the Arlowski Sylvia fight. My money was on Andrei. The guy is really a star. I cant wait to see him fight. The Tito Belfort fight left me upset. I walkied out of the Arena disapointed. I really wanted to see Tito get his ass handed to him for the thrid time. Well for the 5th, but you know what I mean. I really see Cotour, Luddel and Belfort as the three rockstars in their weight class. I wanted Tito to get his ass wooped by each one. How about Tanner. That guys gave Terrel an ass wooping. AFter that fight I thought back to the Terrel Lindland fight, and I wonder....did Terrel just get lucky there? I wonder if UFC will bring him back7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
Hipwrddude 0 #4 February 10, 2005 The alarm clock was a joke (rimshot.) I've been a fan from day one of the UFC and MMA before that. You lucky bastard, I attended UFC 7 in Buffalo, NY, years ago, but this UFC featured higher caliber fighters. Orlovski is good, but he's got some chinks. Remember what Pedro Rizzo did to him? Althought I like Sylvia (victim of a tormented childhood and a loveless mother) he's not well rounded. Couture would take him. Couture's gonna deliver another beating to the Iceman too. Among heavyweights, watch Buentello. He's the real deal. I've followed Tanner since he appeared on the scene after he gained experience from watching videos of submissions. Remarkable heart. But, Terrell will be the Oscar De La Hoya of MMA, just watch. Unfortunately, Lindland will take Tanner and Terrell will may take Lindland. In my opinion, Bustamante will take them all, but Zuffa is too cheap. Before I go, do you check out Sherdog.com? Sherdog is the #1 MMA site on the web. Later Bro! pop 0 #5 February 10, 2005 Yeah, I check Sherdog all the time. You are not the first person to say that about Terrell. What exactly makes people think that he is the real deal? He's got a pretty good MMA record. I beleive its 9-2 if I am not mistaken. But I dont see what others see. And you are right about Sylvia. Twice now he goes down because of a submission. After the fight in the interview he said....I had to tap cause it wasnt worth being out for a year....refering to getting his arms snapped by Mir. But I think he is a great stand up fighter. He is a very technical striker. I wouldnt underestimate this guy. I guarantee he is going back home to practice his ground game. By the way...I think we are gonna go to UFC 52 in April. I think we are gonna go with the cheapest tickets this time...but hey...we are still gonna be there. U should join.7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
Hipwrddude 0 #6 February 12, 2005 Terrell is exceptionally talented and young. He should return with greater success as he is stable, focused and determined. UFC 52 in Vegas. Sounds good. I have a friend who keeps prodding me to do Vegas... we'll see. Go Couture! You're always the starter in your own life!
