not too bad...only took 3 cortisone onjections...2 months of PT and an IDET procedure and I'm finally back to work.

LOL - Getting the packing removed is NASTY! I almost passed out from the smell, no wonder the doc left the room and had me do it myself. Try to breathe through your mouth until its all out and into a sealed trashcan. Yuck.

Mine was a septal plasty resulting from a moment of distraction during a boxing match, but it sounds like a similar procedure. I don't remember the pain being too bad, except during another boxing match later that week (not a good idea). Hope your recovery is quick & pain-free.

wel as it is work is expectingme to be back on monday and i fel weel enough to be back on monday even now... actuall i'm about readly to go into work for a few hours here... onlything that mght prevent you from going to work is the drainage of your nose... mine is still "oozing" a litle bit so i have to where my "bra" as my roomate likes to call it.. it goes from one ear to the other and holds some gause over my nose so that it soaks up the blood and snot that is oozingout of it... have to change it every few hours.. but it is alot better........ i'd recomend gettingit done on a thursday morning and youshould be good to go for monday!!!

bEST WISHES on healing1 surgery may not do it so, don't be suprised if you need a second one. Scar tissue growing in can set you back.
I had all but, the 5th sinuses done now I have to get THAT done next month (massive pain for weeks in forehead when jumping)

I had the operation in 1988. I could breathe better, and my problem with allergies disappeared too!

I highly recommend it.
