What would god eat anyways? Wine, bread? Cool, will do, I'll have wine and bread for breakfast.:D

Ok, good luck bro. As nervous as I was about my surger back in Oct, it wasn't that bad and the drugs they gave me after the surgery were kinda neat.

I've had my nose worked on after i broke it a school when i was about 12. It wasn't a major op, i went in to the hospital in the morning, they gave me an anasthetic, broke my nose again to reset it and i was out that afternoon.

I had to wear a bandage on my face for a while after that and i remember begging my mom not to make me go to school but she did anyway.

Tough times :P

good luck with your op though dude, i'm sure it's a pretty routine thing for a Doc to do.

I had that surgery done about 2 years ago. I thought it was pretty easy...I was in and out of there pretty quickly. And while I was definately out of it for the remainder of that first day, I was 80-90% that next day. I don't think I took anything more than advil after that first day.

Hope your experience is as good as mine! Good luck!

i've had it done twice. first doc didn't quite get it right. i had a turbinectomy (sp?) done at the same time. the worst part of the whole thing was getting the packing taken out a few days after the surgery. other than that it was a week or so with a constant headache.

i did it a couple of years ago and it was great. i was so glad, could concentrate so much better, my head felt so much clearer... the worst part was getting the stitches out.

weirdly, i went to my ENT yesterday to get my ears looked at (perforated an eardrum jumping last saturday) and he was admiring his handiwork from before... :)

speedy recovery.

Amen brother....I had a septoplasty and sinus drainage ports opened up more to help with re-occurring sinus infections. I didn't think the original surgery was bad and felt OK afterwards but 2 days later when all that packing got removed:o...that should be done under anesthesia....lol
