"Screw Cupid" in Chicago!

It's not that you need a day to show how much you love each other.... Do you need birthday parties, Christmas, St. Patricks, or Groundhog Day???? It's FUN! A very special friend and I are going to dinner the Rep (theatre) to celebrate his birthday and Valentine's day. Having been in such a horrific marriage for so many years, I'm REALLY looking forward to celebrating with something fun.... Can't imagine what in the world could be wrong with that....

I think if people need one day a year to show how much they love each other.. they've missed the point. [Smile]

I think we're still getting together tonight...I'm just not sure where! :D It's always a tough call between the suburbs or the city! Everyone needs to live within 5 miles of each other, and this would be much easier!

I got such an ass beating over this thread. I had to break down and buy something sappy and fluffy. >:(

I bought my nephews chocolate, and so they love me. Ooh! I forgot to put my mom's card out on her bed. I should go do that.

You know, single people have a choice as to how they feel on Valentine's Day.

Married people who are going through a shitty period at home will feel differently... Like me... [Mad]
