Zee 0 #1 February 10, 2005 My Pops was quite the character. I remember one day, pulling up the driveway seeing this “old guy” mowing the lawn wearing the "Skydive Hard" t-shirt I picked up for him as a goof at my first boogie over 10 years earlier. To this day I don’t know why he loved that t-shirt so much. He was always the best dressed guy in the room; at the office, the company party, or just sitting on the couch at home. He always dressed so damned well. It was so out of character for him but for some reason, he just loved that t-shirt. It’s strange, the little memories that surface when you find out someone you love so much has passed away. I don’t know why I thought of that damned t-shirt – it was just the first thing that popped in to my head when I got the news. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. We made our first skydives together back in 1992 – Me, my brother, and my Pops. That was a really good day………. Blue Skies – Z Action©Sports

You were very lucky to share skydiving with him. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

Peej 0 #5 February 10, 2005 Wow, your post gave me goosebumps. I'm deeply sorry for your loss bro but it sounded like you guys shared something special. It's also given me the motivation to call up my sis and my dad and tell them to fix their relationship, it's not like he's gonna be around forever. wmw999 2,566 #6 February 10, 2005 I'm sorry about losing your father, but it sounds like he really really enjoyed being your father, and his life. What a wonderful thing. Zee 0 #11 February 15, 2005 Thanks everyone for your condolences. It was a real boost to see all of the familiar faces at San Marcos this weekend too. Too bad I didn't have enough time get in on some jumps - I really wanted to get some new footage of L.A.S.T now that you guys have become such celebrities. Guess I’ll just have to hook up with you guys next time. Peace, Z Action©Sports
