kansasskydiver 0 #1 February 14, 2005 Please welcome our new member of the family. We haven't given her a name yet, but she's so cute. We were thinking about Stain or Stains until my roommate yelled "Come Stain" Then it was all over. She's a Dalmatian/Lab mix 8week 2 days<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist! ccowden 0 #2 February 14, 2005 Very cute! Glad to see someone actually spell "dalmatian" correctly.
kansasskydiver 0 #3 February 14, 2005 Yes she's very cute. We got her yesterday so she's still adjusting to being alone at night. She's a shelter dog, so we helped out the community as well. Hopefully she's a good guard dog too so we don't have to pull the swords on anyone again<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!

Icon134 0 #5 February 14, 2005 She is cute... I just brought one home last week too... she's a bit camera shy... so two of them are when she is sleeping... she is also a mutt (lab/catahoula leopard hound) and it seems she takes after her mother. Her name is Karma and she is nearly 8 weeks... Scott

Dougiefresh 0 #10 February 14, 2005 QuoteDalmatian/Lab mix I hope you've got a lot of energy, cuz I know this dog is gonna want to run ALL day. any dog parks in your area? they're a godsend -- the dogs run around with each other and you can stand around and talk to the hot dog owners of the opposite sex. Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. --Douglas Adams
kansasskydiver 0 #11 February 14, 2005 Yeah I know she's gonna have a lot of energy. I don't have anything to do during the days so it'll actually help me get motivated and out of the house. No dog parks around here that I know of, though city park is just 2 blocks away and there are lots of hot females running around who just LOVE little puppies awwwww<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist! missg8tordivr 0 #12 February 14, 2005 Yep, they tend to have more energy as time goes on. My dog of almost three still acts like a puppy most of the time, but is finally starting to settle down. Have you thought about any training classes?? PetSmart actually has a great program...even got my dog to play dead when I shot her..it is so cute! *J*** F LORIDA! kansasskydiver 0 #13 February 14, 2005 We're taking her to a puppy class over the next 5 weeks. It's only $60, not bad. She's doing pretty good, sleeping at my feet right now. She had a rough night being alone. She was crying all night till my roommate got up at 5 and let her out then I got up at 8:30 and she was fine.<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!
