Need info on Phoenix...

There's a very strong possibility that I'm going to be moving to the Phoenix area in the next 60 days.

Can anyone tell me where to find a decent place to live that is safe and what the avg cost of living is?

A good friend of mine just bought a house in Chandler. He says it's a really nice area.

Plus its on the south end of Pheonix...closer to Eloy!

dependingon where ya live it can be expensive or cheap...... lots of "nice" parts of town though.... lived there for a monthin 99' but never got to see much of the area.....

Gilbert is also a good area as well as Chandler. There are some 'not so good areas' in the Phoenix area. Do some research and find a good area to live in.

The housing market is a sellers market in both Gilbert and Chandler. Both areas are growing with most new construction already sold.
An average (and I do mean average) 5 year old home will start at about 230k.
