kai2k1 0 #1 February 16, 2005 There's a very strong possibility that I'm going to be moving to the Phoenix area in the next 60 days. Can anyone tell me where to find a decent place to live that is safe and what the avg cost of living is? Thanks. hooked 0 #7 February 16, 2005 Gilbert is also a good area as well as Chandler. There are some 'not so good areas' in the Phoenix area. Do some research and find a good area to live in. bbarnhouse 0 #8 February 16, 2005 QuoteGilbert is also a good area as well as Chandler The housing market is a sellers market in both Gilbert and Chandler. Both areas are growing with most new construction already sold. An average (and I do mean average) 5 year old home will start at about 230k. Katie made a good suggestion with her link. Its a good place to start.
