wingnut 0 #1 February 16, 2005 mine, it's pretty damn big.... had the splint removed from my nose today and damn, i can't belive they had those things in my nose... i'm glad they put them in while i was knocked out, to bad they couldn't of taken them out that way too... didn't hurt much when they took em out, but he had to suction up some of the packing they put in and he shoved the suction thing about 5 inches into my nose... i could almost feel it inmy throat!!! so if you are wondering, you can probly fit a flat piece of plastic about as wide as your thumb (maybe a little wider even) up your nose about 3 inches....... i swear... i was almost gona ask if he wouldof let me take video of him taking them out... it wouldof been killer gross out video!!!!! ...lol..... but i can breath so much better now.... it's a big diffrence.. so have no fear, you all can let me crash on your couch without fear of me snoring much...... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version" Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

kingbunky 3 #17 February 16, 2005 those plug things they use are great compared to gauze. the first time mine was done they used gauze packing. when he took it out, i thought he was starting a lawn mower. he grabbed the end of it andwent to full arm extension, then had to come in and grab it again and pull another 2 or 3 feet of it out. i was so amazed at how much came out i momentarily forgot how much it freaking hurt. it was kinda like a magicians trick where they pull all the ribbon out of someone's ear. then he did the other nostril.
