Lostinspace 0 #1 February 18, 2005 Sorry for the silly question. I used another jumper's tool while learning about packing. What is this tool called? It is used in place of a weight, to provide tension while packing. It consisted of a flat obround metal plate. Velcro was adhered to one side, to grip while packing on carpeting. The plate also had a hole in it, which you could drive a stake through when packing on grass. The tool has a strap that is routed through the leg straps and then buckled. MWGemini 0 #3 February 18, 2005 I've got one, but it isn't very useful for the carpet we have in the packing area at my DZ, plus there are a lot of weights around (including the lead safe I wear to do RW). It is in my car right now, but PM me and I'll get the name for you if nobody else replies before tomorrow. Mike Edit: typo

sunshine 2 #6 February 18, 2005 I like when people sit on the rig as my weight. Since i actually answered his question a few posts up, we can hijack the thread now right? ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! AggieDave 6 #7 February 18, 2005 Its a Scott's Grip. If I can actually find mine I'll mail it to you. I quit using even a weight for packing a few years ago and have no use for it anymore. This is if I haven't given it away already, I can't remember if I did a while back or not.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
