jumpinfarmer 0 #1 February 18, 2005 He drives a Petter Built truck. This afternoon, after my disturbing lunch (see my other post) I had to load a semi truck with oats. In came a Petter Built truck with Texas plates all decked out, Rebel flag and all. Out of it came a young guy about six foot tall and 225lbs built like a brick shit house with brown hair and a scruffy beard. He was sporting a cowboy hat, lone star belt buckle, and talked with a drawl that made him hard to understand. On his coat was embroidered the name Dave. While I've never met our AggieDave in person this guy sure fit the impression I have of him. P.S. Don't worry Dave he did seem like a cool dude. AggieDave 6 #2 February 18, 2005 Bwahahahahaa! That's great! Although my accent isn't too bad, and I weigh more then 225lbs. I am jealous of the truck though, I've often thought about getting my CDL and following that line of work.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." RedassSkychic 0 #3 February 18, 2005 Ahha!! So you were in New York this afternoon. You're in trouble now, buddy! jumpinfarmer 0 #4 February 18, 2005 I've thought about driving a truck some to, but after about ten minutes I come to my senses and forget about it. This guy hadn't been home in almost two weeks, and was trying to work his way back to Texas. He hoped to get there by the first of March.

And that is one of the reasons I would go crazy. I love traveling, I love the open road...hell, I even enjoy driving long distances to places, BUT I don't think Morgan would like to travel with me as a trucker and I don't want to be away from her for that long.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
