AggieDave 6 #2 February 18, 2005 I liked Fark's headline better. QuoteIn an effort to make Everquest nerds fatter and lazier, gamers can now order pizza directly from the game --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Slappie 9 #3 February 18, 2005 Actually I didn't see this via Farked. I saw it on my old guilds (yes everquest guild) forums this morning. AggieDave 6 #4 February 18, 2005 NICE edit. What do you mean you didn't check Fark? You know, I'm thinking about going Total Fark, but I'm not sure if I can deal with the volume of shit being put up.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Slappie 9 #5 February 18, 2005 QuoteWhat do you mean you didn't check Fark? Sorry man hate to disapoint you but Fark has been dropped to an afternoon site I visit. I check it out in the later afternoon after he's revealed most of the headlines. Oh, and I never ever post. Believe it or not. AggieDave 6 #6 February 18, 2005 I never post there as well. One site of heavy posting to keep up with is hard enough.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
Dougiefresh 0 #7 February 18, 2005 I had a Everquest-addicted roommate who literally would not come out of his room for days except to get the pizza at the door and go to the bathroom. There were pizza boxes stacked three feet high in his room, it was disgusting. I couldn't understand it, that game is so ultra lame. Grand Theft Auto at least has a point to it.Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. --Douglas Adams

Rebecca 0 #9 February 18, 2005 I've heard it called EverCrack. Not gonna go there. I've heard of a game called Jade Empire coming for Xbox, but I'm not really a gamer, so forgive me if it's old news. Can anyone tell me anything? Is it cool? I want a game of my own for the living room! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? Actually Everquest is so addictive it's amazing. I installed one afternoon the demo we got with a new Sony Viao. This was back in 2000... I didn't turn the game off for almost 4 years. I played every night, weekends. It was just so imersive and the gimick was so easy to see. Kill this monster get some loots... kill this monster get more loots... kill this bigger monster get even better loot!! Must kill monsters for loot!! translated: Push this button get a prize, push this button get a prize.. push this bigger button get an even bigger prize.. It was a phenominon (sp) scientists and college professors have been studying the effects of MMOs on the human psyc using Everquest. Slappie 9 #13 February 18, 2005 Damn between Fark and Dropzone.com I think the website died. You would assume a company the size of Sony Online Entertainment. They'd have servers large enough and a fat enough pipe to handle the hits. Guess not.. buncha lamers. /rude Sony "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them."
