I had a Everquest-addicted roommate who literally would not come out of his room for days except to get the pizza at the door and go to the bathroom.

There were pizza boxes stacked three feet high in his room, it was disgusting.

I couldn't understand it, that game is so ultra lame. Grand Theft Auto at least has a point to it.

Actually Everquest is so addictive it's amazing. I installed one afternoon the demo we got with a new Sony Viao. This was back in 2000... I didn't turn the game off for almost 4 years. I played every night, weekends. It was just so imersive and the gimick was so easy to see.
