I just bought this tent for the DZ.
Does anybody know anything about it? Is it worth $50.00, or am I just going to buy another after the first rain and windy day.

I know the thing is huge. It will be just me, but it has to fit a queen size air mattress in it.

Just beware that you may have trouble staying warm on cool nights. It's only your body heat warming the place up, and air matresses suck even more heat from you.

I reccomend getting a fleece blanket to put between you and the air matress, it does help prevent some body heat loss.

And yes the 1st wind storm you will wonder what state you are going to land in when it decides to take off.

Buying a good tent are either REI or EMS is well worth the money spent.

Yes, I stay in my van. For the Go Fast Games I brought my camping stuff for Brit and Hook to use. It saved them the hassel of having to travel with all that stuff.

get a VW westfalia camper or VW Eurovan camper...your all set up as soon as you arrive pop up top, stove, sink, fridge...

I've been dreaming about getting one of these.

I don't need anything big, it's just me and my dog. Staying smaller will save on gas and I can keep it in my driveway without pissing off the Home Owners Association.

I just have to weight the options if it's worth having another car on the insurance policy, but the number one thing I have to think about is another car payment. My van is payed off, and I don't know if I want to budget for a car payment. I enjoy spending the money on other things.

for you.. a non mechanic type.. that might be better option... the VW vanagon westfalia campers were last made 14 years ago... so they need some upkeep to keep them running... yea car payments ugh... as for insurance if you insure it as a motorhome is quite cheap..vs regular car insurance...
