ACMESkydiver 0 #1 February 21, 2005 Apparently Washington state is showing numbers "hardest hit in years" with this mutant virus...little f*cker got me about 3 weeks ago, and I haven't jumped since. I know some other people around here that were hit with this stupidly long illness. Why do they call it a cold, when it feels like a tropical storm in your chest?! Who else has this crap?! 3 weeks is typical!! 3 FREAKING WEEKS for a damn cold... Just stupid!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Beeron 0 #2 February 21, 2005 A friend of mine has had something like you've described. It's been over two weeks and she just can't seem to shake it. Hope you get well soon! B~
ChasingBlueSky 0 #3 February 22, 2005 I've had it for a week now, and thought I was getting better...but I still feel out of it today. I am better than I was on Wednesday, but it did take me out for a solid six days._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... And it's cantagious beyond belief. The boss and VP both walked in with it on Monday, I had it that afternoon. In the last two weeks nearly half of the office has been hit by it and now one of my roommates has it._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... JohnMitchell 16 #7 February 22, 2005 I caught that cold last week, missed work on Friday and jumping on Saturday. Ate a bunch of Sudafed and made one jump Sunday, wasn't too bad on the sinuses, but I didn't make another. Hope all of you feel better soon.

Sinuses aren't bothering me...I just can't seem to suck in enough oxygen. Lungs just don't want to work right. I'm pretty sure that altitude would compound the problem. And this GOREGOUS freaking weather we've been having is pissing me off!!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Hipwrddude 0 #10 February 22, 2005 Try Zicam, oral mist. Most pharmacies carry it in the cold -n-flu section. Without using up my word limit, I'll just say that, until they cure the common cold (of which there are some 200 different strains,) this is the best stuff on the market. You're always the starter in your own life!
BillyVance 35 #11 February 22, 2005 I must be lucky, I just saw a weather-alert webpage that showed a graphic of the U.S., showing each state's level of influenza outbreaks... Only Alabama and California had the lightest level - sporadic outbreaks... everybody else were either regional or widespread....
