You are forgetting the "e" at the end of silicone. I put in silicone removal on yahoo and got lots of hits. I didn't read any of them to see if there are any that you can use on your hair.

Also, I have some of those earplugs for my grandson and you can email info@hearos.com and see if they have any suggestions for you.

Good luck and PM me and tell my how your flying is going. I did my first solo yesterday - lots of fun.

may i recomend for further use to get a good quality pair of "rubber" ear plugs.... i got a couple sets from the air force and they work great, are reusable and washable and my current set has lasted me the better part of 3 years of everyday use.... they come in a single or triple flange design.. i like the single as it sits in your ear withought much protruding, while the triple flange sticks out a little more... probly beableto find themin the hunting section of a sporting goods store..... i need to start remebering to bring themalong with me inthe plane.... already have a 40 decible loss n one ear, don't need to agrivate it anymore thanit already is....

hey! yeah, google corrected me and i went from there. with spellcheck and smart search engines... i've stopped using everything i learned in grammar school.
i got it out... i lost some hair and it took a few washes, but i'm good to go. if the rubber ones are the reusuable bullet looking ones, those are what i have in mind next. thanks for the heads up.

Missed your first post, But for future referance if you go to a professional builders store
they sell a product for removing silicone, Use minimal contact with skin an wash hair after with a shampoo that replaces
your natural oil.
