champu 1 #27 January 29, 2005 QuoteGo to In-N-Out Burger. I mean... the food's fine and everything, but I don't quite understand the in-n-out obsession. Damn it all... now I want to go to the aquarium.
Nightingale 0 #28 January 29, 2005 Southern california is not built around public transportation. Unless you want to spend your entire day commuting, rent a car. Fun stuff to do: BodyWorlds at the Science Center in Los Angeles Aquarium of the Pacific Ice Dogs Hockey Game (minor league...the mascot skates better than the players) Venice Beach (only on weekends during the day) 3rd Street Promenade (near venice, good place to go to on weekend nights) Disneyland Knotts Berry Farm Universal Studios Sea World Wild Animal Park Medieval Times (Medieval dinner and joust) Skydiving at Perris or Elsinore Wind Tunnel That's all I can think of at the moment. flyangel2 2 #29 January 29, 2005 While in Florida I found a great car rental place. I did a search and found the same company in Long Beach. Superfletch 1 #32 January 29, 2005 QuoteLong Beach didn't seem too nice other than that, it was just an in between San Diego and LA. But, we didn't stay long. I'm sure there is more to do. But, don't miss the aquarium! Long Beach is a shit hole. Not much at all there unless you are looking to buy some crack. I used to live in Carson which is just around the corner. BTW, Carson is a shit hole too. Hahahaha Check out the beaches while you are there. I really like Hermosa Beach. The Queen Mary is interesting. There's plenty to do in LA in general and it's all connected so just decide what you'd like to do and in LA you'll have no problem finding it somewhere. Uhhh, beg to differ on your generalization; Belmont Shore is one of the coolest and most laid back beach towns on the coast. 2nd Street is a great selection of bars, restaurants, and haunts. I mean, unless you count those 1.5 million dollar shitholes. PM me if you want some ideas; Slow.
