Firing altitude seem rather relevant here regarding its relationship with how a container opens after the R closing loop is cut. This isn't the first time we've seen a reserve PC hesitation resulting in a fatality. So, what is it about a rig and the PC that dictates when the AAD should fire? How can a rig be checked to ensure that the flaps open properly and the spring exerts enough force? Helical compression springs aren't exactly uncharted engineering.
