Dumpster 0 #1 February 28, 2005 I'm on a lunch break right now - (At 2 AM on a Monday morning-) I'm usually not here this time of day. It's nice - No brass here to hassle me. So I've got time to think. I've been pulling wrenches and chasing wires for what seems like forever. The pay here is decent. But I'm getting tired, and I don't get the joy out of work like I used to. By the end of the day my feet are killing me, and I'm beginning to feel it in my knees, wrists, hands, and so forth. Alot of days I'm so busy taking phone calls, talking to contractors, and all sorts of BS I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels - I don't feel like I've accomplished much of anything. (I'm a maintenance tech/supervisor with skills in electrical, mechanics, welding, pipfitting and all that fun stuff. I dig PLCs and AC and DC drives, too.) I've been here at this company for 7 years now. I'm fully vested. I think I want out. But what to do, and I prefer to relocate to the south - somewhere below the Mason-Dixon line. Any ideas??
