So since it is SOOOOO awful down here (for skydivin' and everything else)all you folks up north just stay there!!! Wow! You just talked about every single jump you have! No, i really like florida. It's just depressing when your paycheck depends on jumping and you sit and watch it rain. Knowing I could have done 12 working jumps this weekend and waking up to see blue skies/steady winds just me! All well, were flying everyday this week but today.

marcandalysse 0 #63 February 28, 2005 QuoteIf you're at Zhills you could always give the tightrope a try until the skies clear. I think they call it a 'slackrope'.... I tried it for 3 seconds....I will stick to freefall! much safer... By the way, there are great off road bicycle trails, and a 7 mile paved circular bicycle/rollerblade trail just down the road on morris bridge...... or you could rassle the gators in Lake Motski swoop pond.... see ya there! marc "The reason angels can fly is that they take themselves so lightly." --GK Chesterton

Brains 2 #66 February 28, 2005 QuoteWell now its time to begin the hunt for the elusive..... Virgins Maybe sacrificing one of those, if you can find one, will help. We couldn't find one at the dz one time so we started looking for a goat to sacrifice, that was a no go too so we just started drinking. Sure enough, late that afternoon it cleared up. SkydiveNFlorida 0 #67 February 28, 2005 QuoteQuoteFlorida sucks! Agreed. I dunno, lately i'm convinced it is the nicest place to live in the US. I think we had a small amt of rain here in S. Fla this weekend, when it was supposed to be miserable. Today, I walked around in the nice warm 80 degree weather. I would say that aint too shabby for February, lol! :D -A

SkydiveNFlorida 0 #70 March 1, 2005 QuoteQuote I dunno, lately i'm convinced it is the nicest place to live in the US. Have you ever been to San Diego? Yep, sure have. I actually went to check out UCSD last year. I applied, we'll see how it goes;) I really loved it there, but we were there during a heat wave (about 100 degrees!), and amidst a time of forest fires. And, isn't Cali flooded right now? Ah, well, tho, I would still love to move out there... i've lived here too long (but, still, Florida isn't so bad if you like warm weather!) I'm considering Rose-Hulman less and less after the winter news from up that way, lol! Waiting on replied from GA Tech, UCSD, UC Berkeley & UT Austin. Seriously, tho, I would likely stay in South Florida if the schools were better, but the best ones in the state are in Gainesville & Tallahasee, yech! -A
