Welcome to the world of Extreme Poledancing, where ordinary members of the public are invited to strut their stuff in unusual places.

The latest craze has been fuelled by a new website at www.extremepoledance.co.uk, where the outgoing girls post snaps of themselves putting on impromptu shows in a host of wacky locations.

They include glass lifts, parks, seaside piers and more often than not, during boozy nights out in town centres.

The site was the brainchild of pals Tom Jones, 20, and 36-year-old Tim Benetton, from Gloucester - who with the help of sexy ex-poledancer Jessie (above) - have travelled to hotspots across the UK including Bristol, Leicester, Western-Super-Mare and London.

They hit the streets armed with a camera and encouraged passers by to perform a poledance.

Armed with a stereo of sexy tunes for people to perform to - they're on hand to capture the moment.

And ambitious Tim has plans to take the idea even further-a-field.

He added: "We would love to see girls poledancing at the Grand Canyon in the US or during a freefall parachute jump.

"It would be crazy but the more extreme the better!"

I would only attempt that with one of those foam noodles. Can you imagine if you accidentally dropped the pole, or if you swung it around and smacked somebody with it? That would be like freefalling in a fight scene in the Matrix or something.

now we're on to something, a whole new hybrid. a belly flyer on either end of a long noodle held vertically, and a freeflyer doing a pole dance in the middle! would take some skill to pull off (staying out of each other's burble in the stack), but would look really cool!

yup, that might work, but she would have to ba able to slow down to belly speed in that position, or have a couple of anvil brothers on their belly to keep up. way past my skill levels though.

i did see a video of somone on the back of a tandem jump though, and bridle leading to the drogue was stiff enough for him to hang off of. that would work too, if it weren't a little unsafe and possibly illegal.

A soft pole in freefall might get wacked around a bit. Go for the gold standard.
