Jeth 0 #1 March 2, 2005 Ok, its fuckin 15 degrees outside today... and its MARCH!!! I'm supposed to be skydiving in 3 weeks!!! And to continually add insult to injury, EVERY DAMN day there is a beautiful blue, clear sky, it is always bone-chilling cold!! WTF is up with that?!? A couple weeks ago we had a nice mild 47-degree day. But, of course, the skies were completely clouded over! This morning when I woke up and saw the sky, I Knew it was gonna be fuckin cold. I am totally sick of this crap. I am sick of being cold. I am sick of my nose running. I am sick of my skin being so damn dry. I am sick of the static on absolutely everything. And I am sick of seeing a gorgeous sky and not being able to get up there!!!! It's March, this is supposed to be ending!!! Ok, sorry, had to vent. Everyone in Chicago will feel my pain. Tonto 1 #3 March 2, 2005 Wheee! In Africa, we have similar winter weather. Clear blue skies, not a breath of wind. Temps get down to about 40... in the middle of the night. Mid day it's kinda 75 deg. Last year, in April, May, June, July, August and September, (our winter) I did 237 skydives, weekends only. Of course, in Summer - the weather is good! You can always move, you know. Birds do it every year! tIt's the year of the Pig.

Try putting more clothes on - then - getting on a plane and - THEN- jumping. OR - One could always just Jump anyway. Are you complaining that it is to cold - or that it is to cold for your you? You could always adjust your location slightly. Or is that to many solutions?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

It would be nice, but we have no plane at SDC or at CSC...the closest place to jump is a cessna a few hours away.... If I remember correctly Jeth is also a student And at SDC we do AFP not AFF. So going to another DZ just to make a jump might make things a lil messed up She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

Ok, this is nuts -- it snowed in Atlanta but its 40 in Utah, thats not right! Lets hope it'll all be over soon and spring will be upon us. "At 13,000 feet nothing else matters." PFRX!!!!! ChasingBlueSky 0 #15 March 2, 2005 Hey, don't forget over the last few years we have seen anything from 75F on March 3rd to a blizzard on March 9th. Expect bad weather at least up until St Patrick's Day, then it gets marginal, then finally good until the end of October when it starts to become marginal again._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... It was getting hot & stuffy in the car while i was giving you roadhead. The fresh air felt good. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
