Slappie 9 #3 March 4, 2005 QuoteDon't burn bridges. A positive reference could make or break future jobs. Agree could be a few year down the line, but if you jackup this job it could haunt you. Specially if your in a specialized field and the people you work with or for may be on the chopping block behind you. They could be the ones hiring in the future. kelpdiver 2 #8 March 5, 2005 It's not that you should be happy about it, it's just that there's virtually no upside to making a big scene when you leave. Sometimes companies realize they fucked up and want someone back, or their needs lead them that way again. If you left in a classless way, you can be sure they'll try every other avenue first. From the description you wrote, it doesn't seem like a very deep job category. Not a good place to burn off a bridge forever. IMO, there are ways to state your case in a professional way, so you don't have to just shut up and take it.
dgskydive 0 #9 March 5, 2005 I would go out with a BIG BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With that being said. It is probably better to bow out gracefully. Do what ever I don't and you will be fine! [seriously]Dom

Lindsey 0 #11 March 5, 2005 A person who makes an ass of himself, only shows himself to be, well, an ass. Regardless of what they're doing to you, or how pissed you are, why would you want to make an ass of yourself????? That's usually what it amounts to when an angry person "leaves with a bang." linz-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged.
