Those peaceful moments

Recommended Posts

Ahhh... End of the day At Elsinore. Sun is setting and you are looking out over the Ortegas. One of those beautiful moments that is picture perfect. Pure serenity. I bust out the digital and a swooper decides he wants to get in the picture. Those guys are always hamming it up for the camera.

Saturday last load at Elsinore. Sunset swoops. First guy down so the pond is like glass. He's ok but put on quite the show.

I think you need to send that one to www.despair.com. I bet they could make a great "demotivators" poster out of it.

Too late. When I saw that pic I knew it had to be done...

If someone can come up with a better text for the "poster" tell me and I'll change it.:D

Great minds think alike, I guess! I'll ruminate a bit on the text.

Options:
1) Everyone has limits - know where yours are.

2) If at first you don't succeed - Skydiving is NOT for you.

3) Don't Fuck Up

But your version is not bad either.

"It could be that the purpose of your life is to serve as a warning to others"

"Notice the unusual landing method of the rare Northwestern Swooping Crane - unorthodox but spectacular."

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

ok so I have no intellegence when it comes to photography. It was a lucky shot is all. There has been several requests for copies.

I know it seems dumb to be concerned because it's just a photo. At the same time it wasn't a real pretty thing to watch either. As far as I know he is a pretty good canopy pilot and experienced.

So here the deal. Is there an appropiate ettiqute?

Credit the pilot?
Ask the pilot if it is ok to distribue?
