Where can I get a bullet-proof vest?

The vests posted by others could be effective against AK and other 7.62 rounds, as long as they chose Level III or Level IV. (these either tend to or always have ceramic or metal back up plates)

but like Scott said....the army has UNIFORMITY.

so best bet, the army will issue body armor.

Good to see you looking frisky, Scott.

Second issue. Just because you buy it doesn't mean your loved one will be able to wear it. There is a thing, especially in the regular Army, called uniformity and it means everyone has to look the same

So if one guy doesn't have it, no-one can wear what they have? Where's the sense in that?
