It was inspired by a small hollow piece of blown glass that was just laying around.

:S:$:)

Huh... I have no idea what you might be talking about :).

Cool art! I want a print! (plus your safety day poster!)

Karen, I normally do not care too much for abstract art, unless it's really impressive...this painting of yours rocks!!! :)
edit to add: I especially like the fact that nobody other than a skydiver might venture to guess those were 2 people falling in freefall togetherB|, nice job, I also like the different colors/patterns you used.

Ever work with stained glass?

That would make a kick ass project for a window:)
Nice painting!!!

That's what I was thinking. I'd hang that in a window.

Its watercolor and ink. I'm thinking about making a skydiving series of this type of style.. having a swooper coming through with the sky swirling behind her (of course) in a van-gogh-esque style.

Oh I understand that it's watercolor and ink. I was just thinking if it could be done in a stainglass it would look very cool.

I was responding to the "is it acrylic" question.

It would look awesome as stained glass though! I would love to learn to do that someday. I think making glass art would be awesome.. probably require a significant investment upfront though.. maybe someday.:)

Maybe there is someone that already does stainglass that you could work with to make your art into stainglass.

You do very nice work.
