But, he is gone...although he wasn't really that nice of a person, he was a great coach. Zook on the other hand....hmmmm, how do I put this nicely. This team was way too much for him to handle, he didn't belong here. Super nice guys, but always tried to be a friend to the players instead of thier coach. Not only that, but he wouldn't know how to call a play even if it bit him on the ass. Now that he is gone, we have the opportunity to redeem ourselves in these next couple of years! Urban Meyer was a good choice, even if there were politics involved. We are going to have a great team next year...so...bring it on!!! I will be a Gator Fan until the day I die!!*** F LORIDA! I heard that he talked with them about coming back and that they told him that he'd have to do a formal interview just like everybody else. I heard it put this way: What would they possibly ask him in an interview? What are your qualifications and do you think you can bring our team up to a championship level? I heard that he told them to look right down the hall at their trophy case for his qualifications. What a joke. I never liked him but respected him greatly as a coach with his ability to inspire greatness. The Univ. of FL dropped the ball big time on that one.
