I would soooo not be cool with that. Nothing, to me, is worth destroying what we have.

Why would her decision to strip destroy what you have?

You can take the girl out of the strip club......But you cannot take the strip club out of the girl! :|:|:|

Been there; Done that; Now I know that turning from a normal job to stripping was a red flag telling me I should have left immediately, instead of later, when I finally realized she was a complete nut case.

I think it is incredibly unfair to generalize all strippers. Yes, some are wacky and you should run screaming in the other direction. However, some are really wonderful people that are grounded and simply strip as a means to an end, ie tuition, pay off bills, etc.

I see nothing wrong with stripping as long as it is the woman's decision and she is comfortable with her body, her choices, and the results of her choices.

The more strippers I meet, the more the generalizations about are proven to be based in fact. Lot's of issues going on those pretty little heads. And it seems that longer someone stays in that business, the more messed up you become.

One friend told me it's almost like being an addict. She wants to stop stripping...but a regular job is boring and the money sucks. She has "quit" stripping a half dozen times. She is currently somewhere is south Florida, stripping! She discouraged everyone from getting into the business.

There are exceptions to the rule. One woman put herself thought Harvard by stripping. She wrote a book about the experience...sorry, can't think the name of the book. I've met a few other that seem pretty centered...but i've met far more that were messed up in the head.

It is a tough job to do and maintain a healthy attitude toward life....I give credit to anyone who can do it. Best of luck to the original poster.

My apologies to any emotionally stable stripper...I mean DANCERS...who take offense to my statement.

Agreed on both points. It should apply to only about 99.99% ;) and it is clearly a woman's choice to work as she chooses. Men involved in relationships with strippers, however, have some serious issues of their own.

I understand what you're saying. I tend to get a bit defensive when people put all strippers into the same category as crazy, drug addicted, sex feinds. I have worked with strippers, dancers, and on many occasions spent time with them outside of a club environment. Yes, there are many crazies in that line of work but there are also some very centered and focused ladies that choose to use their assets to their advantage.

Now, enough of a hijack from me, I'm turning this thread back over to the original question. ;)

but promises to totally support your skydiving habit with all the extra cash.

Could you handle that ?

edit : Just wondering , i don't have this prob/opportunity:)

Hell yeah! Dude, that would be totally hot. There is a difference between stripping and giving it up. As long as she was just stripping, I wouldn't have any problem with it at all. In fact, it would quite the turn on ;)

Hmm....I don't think you'll find a lack of people to agree with that situation. Isn't that what most guys want, a hot sugar momma? ;)

that would be cool if i didn't already have a sugar momma. maybe i could get her to strip for just me.

I would have no problem with that. I happened to have lived with a stripper in college. Other than the usuall crazy college shit, she was very cool and normal (well, as normal as my house was anyway :P) and now she has a normal job, and a fiance.

Just because a girl is a stripper does not make her a whore.
Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Ask any struggling rock musician about this. We all knew strippers made the best girlfriends because they always had money and a place to stay.

Skydivers are pretty close to that lifestyle. For me, I got out of that stuff long ago.

From experience, it ain't worth it...

Hmmm, interesting question.

I reckon it could be a very hard thing to get used to. Funnily enough this question popped up in the last few months though.
A friend of mine asked me what i would think if she got into it, knowing how much cash they make.
I thought about it and told her honestly that it wouldn't change my opinion of her.
Of course dating the girl might be a little different. I know over here no boyfriends are allowed in the clubs, personally i wouldn't be able to visit her at work anyway knowing how guys are in there.
It all comes down to trust in the end though.
