weegegirl 2 #1 March 9, 2005 My best friend highly recommended this CD. I had never heard of this guy. I went out on a limb and ordered the cd from Amazon. It cost me less than $14 with shipping. I can't stop listening to it. Seriously. I've never been so in love with music before. It makes you happy. It warms your heart. It's fun, light, just so freakin great. Try it!! You won't be disappointed. It's making it's way around my office right now and everyone is freakin out about it and buying it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0007GAEVW/qid=1110394165/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/104-5186448-6256747?v=glance&s=music&n=507846
NWFlyer 2 #2 March 9, 2005 Jack's great mellow chillin' out music. Get Brushfire Fairytales, too. Oh, yeah, he's kinda dreamy-cute, too. I'm not always on top of new music, but this guy just rocks beyond rockin. I'm going to order everything he has. and yes, no doubt, total cutie
skymama 37 #4 March 9, 2005 I have his first cd and I agree, it's so mellow and cool to listen to. He lives out in Hawaii (with his wife-bummer! ) and is a surfer. I just read an interview the other day where he said he didn't set out to be a singer. It just evolved from playing around the bonfires at night. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
NWFlyer 2 #5 March 9, 2005 He's been around a couple of years. I discovered him b/c the bartender at this pool place I go would play Brushfire Fairytales all the time. He's a pro surfer who started writing music and playing guitar just for shits and giggles. He would play for friends but not publicly. He actually wrote "Rodeo Clowns" for G Love prior to his own first album coming out. Alas, girls, he's married. ("Bubble Toes" is about his wife and her weird feet!). Stumpy 284 #6 March 9, 2005 Get "on and on" as well!!! I've been listening to the first two albums for a couple of years now and i still think they are amazing. "Brushfire Fairytales" is my favourite.... He is one of Kelly slaters best mates, and he was the youngest person ever to be in the Pipeline masters (I think) - so he's a pretty hot surfer too!!!Never try to eat more than you can lift
