Wow, you guys are some logging fools.

You are gonna hate my answer.

Around jump number 200, I got my D license and quit logging. It started at an AOT Boogie 2001 I think but might we way off. I had a camera, and I got tired of writing. I had a basic idea, and would tally rough numbeers for totals but had no idea on what each jump was. So, I knew about when I hit each hundred.
I just dont really like logging, I like reading my log descriptions in the beginning, but now I have video. Since getting my Neptune I have started logging again at jump 500, but it will be all Paralog this time around, I have much more patience for that.

Just like Dave, I am here to jump, not log. I dont care about SCR (never sent it in) don't care about wings, I already have my D, etc. I would rather have stories like airtwardo, than a stack of 50 logbooks.

Ok, there ya go folks, I updated after the 5 jumps I did yesterday and the 6 jumps I did today. (Being a tandem instructor is fun).B|

I might be broke, I might not always make my bills on time, but by god as a TI I do get to jump a lot.B|B|:P

What the deal is, is that I'm a TI and so I do a lot of tandems and a shitload of hop and pops.

Why?

I LOVE doing tandems and they pay the bills (barely and not all the way every month but that still means I'm jumping) and hop&pops are cheap and all I care to do if I don't get to do a tandem is go swoop.

Eitherway over the past year the ratio of tandems to sport jumps has definately favored tandems.

Lucky for me that I fucking live for doing tandems and getting to take a student on a tandem jump makes my day.:)
(I'm serious, I freak'n love tandems).

And it seems like just yesterday you
were 'thinking' about getting your TI rating...

No doubt!

Or I'd be coming to you to ask you for a demo-jumper job.:D;)

Well, I just checked my numbers today and I actually have just a hair under 500 tandems, Todd (Aggieland DZO) has been kind enough to make me the primary TI right after I got my rating and has kept me jumping a LOT. It helps me a whole lot in paying the bills and keeping me in the air. Not only that but it makes sure I have enough money on account to get some fun jumps on to work on my swooping.

No where else but at a DZ like Aggieland would the DZO go out of his/her way to take care of the staff like that.

Only did 2 today, there were 5 loads in our new Grand Caravan, but my tandems weren't scheduled until later and the weather started to get close enough that we shut everything down early so we wouldn't play the game of "beat the approaching storms." Even though I could have still gotten a couple of tandems done it was nice to have a DZO agree with me to wait and see what happens and not push the edge. Having a DZO that motivated for safety and listens to his people is a definate plus.

I update when ever I remember. But I kind of like the number that is there right now. It kind of flows. I might not add to it for a while. Changing my avatar is more important to me:ph34r:

More importantly, I think you should worry about building a new garage for the truck you ordered:ph34r:
It's almost made it's way down there!

NICE.

Too bad that I'll take 1/2 a parking lot to park, but I'm sure I could weld up a ramp so folks could park in the bed of my new truck.:D:P
