Deuce 1 #1 March 21, 2005 Skydive takeoff one thousand two hundred and fifty nine. Hooked up to a nice kid who's dad took him skydiving for his 18th birthday. Very cool, and one of the kinds of tandems that makes you want to be a tandem instructor. And the clouds moved in and we couldn't get out. And I landed in a skydive aircraft for the very first time. Scary, scary shit. BEER!
Muenkel 0 #2 March 21, 2005 How disappointed was the kid and has he scheduled another tandem? Chris _________________________________________ Chris
Deuce 1 #3 March 21, 2005 He may have jumped later. I left around 11 AM and there was some potential they would get it done today. This is about me, though, Meunkey. I had to land in a KingAir with full fuel, with a full load, in the rain, with a pilot who normally lands the thing empty, and had never landed it with 12 people in it before. I was skeered. Hold me. mcarchangel 0 #4 March 21, 2005 I had my first landing on a full aircraft for my AFF3 flight that was supposed to be my third jump. At least I got it done with early.------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! How's yours doing?
flyangel2 2 #7 March 21, 2005 You big baby. It's when you land in a DC3 on a short cross wind runway, plane is full, and the pilot is sweating bullets.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

Deuce 1 #9 March 21, 2005 QuoteQuit yer bitchin. At least you're not dutch. Right in between the Hail Mary and the Lord's Prayer I thanked Gawd that I was not Dutch. And wondered how Iwan was doing at Roaming Boogie. He was partying with GirlfFallDown, which is even more dangerous than a bad weather landing with Hammer Time. I saw pics of him with those crazy Ohio chicks too. You think he survived? ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! I had to land at Byron in a PAC with 13 people and the pilot who normally lands it empty, in 30 mph winds, in the dark last weekend. Good thing I was drunk. BTW, where were you last Saturday night? I had a monkey hug for you.
Deuce 1 #12 March 21, 2005 I got a real nice drunk dial from you at one point. Yesterday I was at a party, and last Saturday I think I was too. Yeah, we were at a wedding up in Healdsburg and stayed over.
