ACMESkydiver 0 #1 March 21, 2005 I have to post 2 additional comments on a message board for my aviation class. I need something to post. I already posted virtual tours of the new A380, and 787 Dreamliner. I already posted stunt pilot vid clips. What else? Any really cool pilot-in-a-hurricane pics or somethin'? Anyone?~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

JohnMitchell 16 #10 March 21, 2005 That is way cool. I didn't know you were a pilot! I know this is a whole new century and all, but why do you have to post a bunch of web page stuff for an aviation ground school? Seems learning the stuff is more important than cutting and pasting. Am I just a dinosaur? P.S. I can read a weather sequence like a muthaf*%$kin' fire. Let me know if you need any help with that pilot-controller stuff. Seems learning the stuff is more important than cutting and pasting. Am I just a dinosaur? I am going about this the looooong way, kinda odd, really; I'm in college taking a 'Professional Pilot' program which is 2 years long. At the end of 2 years, I will have my Private, IFR, and Commercial ratings, as well as an Associate's degree in Aviation Technology. So this quarter's course was 'Ground School -Private Pilot'...which is kinda like Pilot Training, and a college course in Aviation all rolled up into one. Y'see, VA won't pay me any of my GI Bill benefits to get a private pilot's license, but they WILL pay me $1330 per month if I am enrolled full-time in a degree program....sooooo.... I'm a pretty smart chick and figured out how to make them pay me my bene's whilest getting my private. QuoteP.S. I can read a weather sequence like a muthaf*%$kin' fire. Let me know if you need any help with that pilot-controller stuff. Ah, thanky, but I think FINALLY that's one thing I think I have nailed; reading the METARS, TAF's, radar echos, etc, etc. (well, for the most part anyhoo. I had NO IDEA there were so DANG many reports!!!! ) I'll CERTAINLY let ya know if I need any explaining, though! Ask the pilots on my DZ...they have suffered my relentless questioning tirelessly...I even got some private tutoring from Scott and Mike on Safety Day before the crowds showed up for the activities! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
