PsychoBob 0 #5 March 22, 2005 Lighter colors show more dirt and are harder to clean. I piled it in on Sat. doing a crosswind landing and the whole back of mine (Black/Lime Green)was covered in dirt/grass stains. It came clean using Scotch upholstery cleaner though. Just go with whatever makes you happy with cleaning in mind. Good luck."I'm not a gynecologist but I will take a look at it" RB #1295, Smokey Sister #1, HellFish #658, Dirty Sanchez #194, Muff Brothers #3834, POPS #9614, Orfun Foster-Parent?" happythoughts 0 #8 March 22, 2005 Email a pic of yourself to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy with a tight jumpsuit on. It may not solve this problem, but your new problem with make it seem less important.
benforde 0 #9 March 22, 2005 Make it bright, so the others can see you. I did my first rig stealth, the new one will be as flashy as possible, signal red or something like that.. Remember, #%^&*! do get out without checking when you jumped, #%^&*! do get out without checking the airspeed of the aircraft, and for sure #%^&*! do track down the line of flight. Make yourself visible, but somewhat original so you can find yourself in that head down world record photo on the cover of Parachutist.
skybytch 273 #10 March 22, 2005 Some popular color schemes - The "Too Many Crayons" color scheme - achieved by making each panel a different color. This can also be known as the "I Have No Fashion Sense" color scheme depending on your choice of crayons. The "Bounce and Blend" color scheme - depending on where you jump this is either greens (Florida, Pacific Northwest, Midwest in the summer) or tan, gold and brown (Arizona, parts of Texas, California). The "I'm Conservative But Don't I Look Good" color scheme - mostly black, white and/or silver with one bright color used as an accent. The "Look At Me!" color scheme - one or two bright colors; if you're using two colors try to make them clash. The "I'm Boring as Hell" color scheme - solid black. Isn't coloring your gear fun? PsychoBob 0 #12 March 22, 2005 ***Isn't coloring your gear fun? Hey Lisa, I love the psycho-analyzing and it's true! It seems that most people buy gear in colors that reflects their personality. I'm a Black with Lime Green panels and flames person. My therapist recommended it and they promise they will release me early."I'm not a gynecologist but I will take a look at it" RB #1295, Smokey Sister #1, HellFish #658, Dirty Sanchez #194, Muff Brothers #3834, POPS #9614, Orfun Foster-Parent?" RevJim 0 #13 March 22, 2005 You forgot the "Needlework is Classy" scheme, as seen below... Works pretty well with any darker, solid color...
