Congrats to Morgan (RedAssSkyChic) and Angelee(QTPi)

Recommended Posts

Morgan (RedAssSkyChic) and Angelee(QTPi) kicked the coach course square in the crotch and passed (nearly perfect) their 2 eval dives in 2 jumps and got everything else done quickly and to that same level of expectation as well this weekend. The ink wasn't even dry on their cards and they were working with students. The students, who knew those two had just that day finished their rating, told the head instructor last night that both of them did a very good job and they were very happy with the level of instruction recieved.

I'm very proud of Morgan, before I know it I bet she'll be out swooping me and have her AFF-I as well.B|

It will happen before you know it.

Congrats girls.

I can't wait! I also can't wait to see her in a pink jumpsuit...:)
Once she's done with school and we're "on our feet" we have plans to DZ travel and getting her some more tunnel time and some bigway camps.

I've got to do what I can do to help someone with that sort of talent to grow to what she can become. Man she's badass.B|

I would love to see that too.

By the way Dave, would that be their rating?

That it is! They even owe beer for working with their first live students, which they got to do yesterday as well.

Now I'm waiting for Morgan to get her tandem rating.:D:P

I still don't get how in the states you can be a coach with so few jumps.

You need a shitload here (by comparison) to be a coach
You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky)

How's yours doing?

Yeah, but then again, we dont have to have 5000 jumps to fly something more ellipitical than my house......so...yeah....things are different here.

Regardless of jumps, I know these two and they are badass flyers, honest to talent, they will easily be on big ways in the future if they want to.

Not sure about the reference, becasue we in Oz don't need that many jumps either:)infact we don't have any "requirements" for canopy types, only recomendations

To become a coach in the US you have to have 100 jumps, have done a handful of pre-reqs and gone through a course.

At some DZs that's enough, at my DZ you have to have gone through Skydive U as well, since we expect a very high level of flying ability to let you loose with a student and we teach SDU techniques.

So basically, both of these girls are badass fliers, even for the lower jump numbers.

Ask Mar (Flyangel2) about how those two fly.
