The demon caffeine . . .

I did it once... but I cheated and quit after injuring my knee running and took pain killers for the transition week...

alas I have returned to my addiction since then...

I gave up caffeine about 3 weeks ago - I have replaced my numerous caffeine based drinks with water and herbal tea.

I felt like complete crap for the first week with headaches, inability to focus on anything etc. for but I now feel so much better! :)

Hehehe... I once thought I was addicted to caffeine... but when I stopped drinking large amounts of it... not much changed.

I know you're just gave it up for a day, but :P.... I gave up sodas on the first of the year and iced tea became my long lost friend. The amount of caffeine in iced tea is less than soda, if I remember correctly.

Either way, somewhere along the lines, I stopped drinking caffeine for 3-4 days (unintentionally, it just happened) and I felt fine.

I still miss diet coke.
