That's good! windcatcher: Sorry about the job. Why don't you try getting a job waitressing or cashier type of thing. Those places are always hiring and it's a little bit of cash to tide you through the next few months. windcatcher 0 #5 March 22, 2005 yeah, I could do that, but since I have no car...I would have to find a place within walking distance of school, and also, who is going to hire me for one month? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

soulshine 0 #7 March 22, 2005 Quotewho is going to hire me for one month? Just don't tell them it will be for a month. I've had to do that a few times. It is kinda shady but hey, you gotta make ends meet somehow. QuoteI would have to find a place within walking distance of school, I don't know where you go to school but college campuses are usually surrounded by places to work. You just have to get creative or bite the bullet and take a crappy job for a month. Good luck. Hmm, that would be interesting, windcatcher with a hammer and soulshine: thanks, but yeah, I would have to tell someone up front I would only work for a month Once I go home for summer, I am gonna work 2 jobs, it's just right now these last 5 weeks of school, I have so many bills to pay... tigra 0 #11 March 22, 2005 Hey, I feel you although for me its been a while. When I was in college, I was only "allowed" to work 10 hours a week at my work study job. I made about enough for Sunday dinners which the dorm did not provide and Monday night happy hour at my favorite bar. Just basic pocket money, really. I also worked full time over winter breaks (6 weeks) and summer breaks. That went towards tuition and books. I always envied the people who could actually afford to go on spring break, since I usually spent mine trying to line up a summer job! If you don't think your school work will suffer as a result of working more hours, and you need the money, look into something off campus.
