Help us with our bellydance troupe name! :)

Recommended Posts

A few of the women in my class and I have decided to form a troupe. Basically, it's as though skydivers form a 4-way team or freefly team. We all have similar goals, and we're all at about the same skill level. Forming a troupe will help us all take our dancing to the next level (scheduled practices, learning from one another, privates with our instructor, etc.) Plus, they're just cool women who I like to hang out with.

Similar to skydiving teams, we're stuck on a name. Two of us aren't really into the whole "goddess" crap. Cool Arabic words won't mean much to most people around here. It's too easy to come up with a cheesy name. Help us!!! We don't want anything sexual sounding or anything like that either.

If we pick the troupe name you suggest, I'll buy you a beer or your beverage of choice or something! ;)

Dakini

This is a celestial dancing goddess, according to Indian mythology, who dances for the gods to help provide them with the inner peace and calm needed along their journey.
