SkiD_PL8 0 #3 March 26, 2005 I love all of the stuff from unplugged that show they used to do on MTV. It is cool hearing some great music played through an acoustic with no effects. Greenie in training.
DJL 235 #4 March 26, 2005 I agree. I don't like how dave sings - it sounds like he's gargling - but I like the instruments. I was pretty dissapointed with everything starting with "These Streets" and afterwards, it was all so studio. Skid, yeah, the MTV unplugged was pretty nice, you can't beat a chill acoustic show. I always cracked up at the tools they had in the audience. I'm not sure if any of them had ever even heard the music, just got tickets on a connection, but they knew how to clap. And they clapped in time through the whole fucking show."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Yeah, the first thing that popped into my head was Nirvana's Unplugged album. Also The Who's "Live at Leeds" is really good.

Muenkel 0 #10 March 26, 2005 I'm not sure what type of music you are interested in. I do want to add that I have watched Tina Turner in concert a few times on Directv Freeperview and she puts on one hell of a show. Unbelievable talent. Of course it does help that her back-up singers and dancers are totally hot! Chris _________________________________________ Chris

LawnDart21 0 #12 March 26, 2005 I have an acoustic version of Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" that would bring a tear to Lloyd Dobler's eyes. Foo Fiighters "Times Like These" is another one. Thank God for the Foo Fighters, in addition to being a kick ass band, they are also the world's only defense against Foo. What would we do without them? -- My other ride is a RESERVE. LawnDart21 0 #13 March 26, 2005 Almost forgot, for any Skid Row fans, there is a live version of "I Remember" recorded in Tokyo that is pretty amazing. Also there is a version of MTV Video Awards performance of Tom Petty and Axl Rose singing "Freefallin" Pretty cool. -- My other ride is a RESERVE.
