kai2k1 0 #1 March 29, 2005 Temps in the upper 60's, not a cloud in the sky. and the DZ is closed on Mondays. So I decided to wash my truck at 1100 this morning. It started out just like any other time I washed my truck. Till I started looking at the rims and couldnt get some kind of tar off. I put the truck on Jack stands and took the wheels off and started washing them. Next thing you know, Ive got the power buffer out and the wheels looked brand new. I finally wash the truck and decide to put a coat of wax on, well make that 3 coats of wax.... After the truck is shining so bright that you had to wear sunglasses around it, I take a look at the inside. Pretty shitty from a winter's worth of abuse. when I find myself at the hardware store renting a rug doctor to do the interior. 2 bottles of Armor All and 3 hours later im finally done with the interior. So what started out a maybe a 2 hour job turned into a 7 hour job, and ended up costing me about 65 bucks. But I have the prettiest freaking Dakota in the state now. jumpinfarmer 0 #4 March 29, 2005 That was me yesterday. Last fall most of my tractors and the two big trucks got put away dirty. When ever someone came around I was sort of embarrassed. Yesterday was nice so I thought it would be a good thing to spend Easter morning doing. Two small tractors washed. The big Deere washed waxed and cab cleaned and Armor Alled. Then the grain trucks got washed waxed interior cleaned and I even put on tire black. They look so good now I hate to use them.
