kcjumpersgirl 0 #1 April 3, 2005 Well, today I made two practice rip cord pulls, and then went up for my clear and pull. I was super nervous and didn't want to screw up. I climbed out on the strut of the cessna, let go, and pulled for myself. I let out a yell, it was so awesome!!! I released my brakes, and immediately went into a right hand spin! I looked up thinking I might have a line over, and realized something was wrong with my lines (probably tension knots). I knew I couldn't land that canopy, so I had to chuck it. I looked, reached, pulled and arched. Felt the drop, and rode in my first reserve ride. TWO FIRSTS IN ONE DAY!!! Man, I love my rigger!
