What do you do when you have stuff on your mind?

When there are things you can't control stuck in your mind like the plague and bothering the hell out of you, what do you do to get it off your mind?

if i can't control it i just don't think about it.
If i can control it i go over my options to see what is the best way to proceed.

Goto you local neighborhood dive bar and drink some beers. Sit at the bar and watch TV.
This will allow you to:

1. Get drunk
2. Listen to other people's problems and gripes in their life. This minimizes your problems (maybe) by realizing you are not alone.
3. Might end up talking to someone who will listen to you talk about your problems.


A wise old man once told me that all of life's problems can be solved with beer and conversation.:)

I exercise. I will work out so hard that I cannot think and by the time I'm done I'm too exhausted to do anything other than shower and go to bed.

Besides, working out releases endorphines, a hormone that makes you happy. :)

1. Skydive, of course.
2. Eat LOTS of chocolate.
3. Go to the gym and bust-a-move!
4. Get busy. Put my mind on other things.

Skydive. Drink. I can only do one of those this weekend. Unfortunately, it's the one that usually ends up making me feel worse afterward, not better. Damn rain.

I feel your pain. My head's spinning like a tornado and none of it is good. :S

1) Write (or type) it down in a journal. Then it's out of your head and on the paper. You can also come back and look at it from a fresh perspective.

2) Go for a long walk, or as other have suggested workout.

3) Call a friend and talk it out. In my opinion, this is the best option.

I've decided to go for option #3 tonight... about to leave for the gym. Yay for healthier solutions. :)
