Lainey 0 #2 April 4, 2005 Waterbeds are so cool, I always wanted one but I can imagine they wouldn’t be so great for your back and could get uncomfy afetr a while, and how can you jump on it? . I say you get a big sleigh bed, or one of those racing car beds haha . My bed rocks, it’s nothing special but the mattress is just so comfy. I love it. Jumpervint 0 #3 April 4, 2005 Yeah, still have a water bed. I bought it in 1976 and I've had to replace the liner, mattress and heater all at least once. I love it and can't imagine ever getting rid of it, although I know someday I probably will. It's warm in the winter! Vint. . . . . "Make it hard again." hookitt 1 #4 April 4, 2005 When I was a little kid, I was at some house and there was a mattress on the floor. Well, what do children do when they see large mattresses laying there? They run and do belly flops. I was no exception. Knocked the wind right out of me.My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... windcatcher 0 #5 April 4, 2005 WaAAaaAaaaaAaHoO!!! Those things are fun--when we were little, my dad blew one up with air and it made a nice, soft bouncy pillow to jump on...and crash into the wall with! smiles 0 #8 April 4, 2005 I threw my king size waterbed in the garbage...many many years ago. Keeping the frame I replaced the waterbed with futon...stuffed 1 ft. thick with layer of foam in the center............. Never slept better in my life!! selbbub78 0 #9 April 4, 2005 I absolutly LOVE my waterbed. Wouldn't trade it for the world... CygnusX-1 43 #10 April 4, 2005 I absolutely love my waterbed. I don't think I could get rid of mine. But if you do, (in my opinion) the next best thing is the 'Select Comfort' air matress. But there is no substute for climbing into a warm bed in the winter and a slightly cooler one in the summer.
huka551 0 #11 April 4, 2005 I had one for years a queen size free flow! I loved it! Warm and comfy, can't remember why I took it down, but over time it just got nasty sitting in my basement, so now it's gone Muff Brother 3723
SkymonkeyONE 4 #12 April 4, 2005 I still have one disassembled out in my shop. The waveless ones sleep great, but are impossible to completely drain if you have to move. Likewise, the baffle material will never again line up if you are successful in moving one and refilling it. Thankfully, they are expensive at all to replace. Evelyn 0 #17 April 5, 2005 My husband and I have our original water bed frame that we bought in 1977. Have replaced pretty much everything but the frame. We love our waterbed and can't imagine sleeping on anything else. We have a featherbed on top of the waterbed matress and a down comforter on top....soo comfy Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
