LouDiamond 1 #2 February 21, 2009 It's 1" wide nylon webbing spaced 1" apart measured from the bottom of the nylon to the top of the next piece of nylon. I've seen different quality of 1" nylon used depending on the manufacturer. What I am assuming you are looking for is the Mil Spec Mil-W-43668 Type III (1 inch). Thats what is used for standard PALS/MOLLE Webbing. Some equipment manufacturers use MIL-W-17337, this is acceptablesince 1", since 17337 has a greater breaking strength, however it is not the Mil. riggerrob 643 #3 February 22, 2009 One inch wide Type 4, square weave nylon tape. This is the same tape commonly used to make skydiving toggles and old-school bridles. For details on sewing MOLLE, visit www.diytactical.com.
